Eric Brown

Eric Brown is a senior at Denby Technical and Preparatory High School. He began his educational career at Goodale Elementary School and Rosa Parks Middle School. Eric is a gifted singer and sings with his church choir at St. Luke A.M.E. Church and with his group, “The Smooth Sensations.” Just recently, this trio of musical greats sang at “We Are History in the Making, 365 Days of the Year,” a Black History Program at Denby. When Eric is not singing, he runs track, and serves as Co-Captain of Denby’s Basketball Team. The Team won District and Regional Honors for the 1999-2000 school year. Eric also played for P.A.L. He resides on the east side of Detroit with his mother, Mrs. Elsie Brown, sister Carnita and brother Andre. His mentors are Coach Washington and Dr. Ellword Miller, Principal. After his graduation in June, Eric will attend Alabama State University and major in Accounting.
