LaTonja Johnson

“My name is LaTonja Johnson. I was born on November 14, 1982 at Bi-County Hospital. I have two brothers and one sister. My parents are Gregory and Delois Johnson. I attend Pershing High School and I have a 3.652 overall GPA and rank 9th out of a class of approximately 330. I am also an Excellence Award Winner.

“I plan to attend Central Michigan or Michigan State University and major in Psychology. I've won two scholarships, one to Central Michigan and the other to the Detroit Rotary Club.

“I began my basketball career in middle school at Farwell Junior High in Detroit, Michigan. I averaged 10 points and three steals per game. I continued at Pershing High School 10th-12th grade. My best year was tenth grade. I averaged 13.2 points per game and four steals.”
